One of the lead insurer in UK Aviva, has come up with an app for Android phone which can be downloaded and is called the My drive app. This App would monitor your driving record for the first 200 miles. It will let you know the accretion, braking and also give you the individual score.
Your individual score would determine the car insurance premium or car insurance rating for you.

The best part of this would be that there would be no installation of the black box or any other device, wherein your privacy would be at stake. This is just an application on the phone which tracks your driving only for the first 200 miles!

Time is going to be the deciding factor – and the claims outgo would be another thing which would be important to know about.
