Teen safety has been achieved and with this cheap teen auto insurance rates can be obtained in Ohio since they have seen a decline in the teen auto insurance rates.
As per the Insurance news , nearly four-year-old restrictions on Ohio teen drivers get some of the credit for a drop in accidents on Ohio roads.
The state Department of Transportation says Ohio saw a 16.7 decline in overall vehicle crashes between 2005 and 2009. Fatal accidents fell 23 percent.
The positive change in the trend of teen auto accidents and fall in auto insurance claims for the insurance companies is attributed to the graduated license law and increased seat belt use along with the better education programs which are running in the state.

In Ohio in December 2006 the law was passed which :
Drivers under 17 can have just one passenger who is not a relative.

The Temporary Permit holder must carry a photo identification card with their application with front and back data at all times while driving.
All Temporary Permit holders must finish 24 hours of class instruction and 8 hours of driving instruction with a certified driving instructor. In addition to this training, the teen driver must complete 50 hours of practice driving with 10 out of the 50 hours being nighttime driving.
A teen under 18 cannot drive during overnight hours without a parent of guardian except for work reasons.
This has helped reduced teen auto insuarnce rates, teen auto accidents and so this is naturally a very positive trend. This has helped to reduce teen auto insurance rates.
